I bought a new iPhone and the e-sim on the old phone was not getting transferred to the new phone so I had to delete it since i was discarding the old phone. Now, how do I install the e-sim on new phone?

@boomerang_us Sorry there is no other way with eSIM at this point . Also note I’m just a customer like you trying to help . And only way to changes device with eSIM is to re buy a new eSIM . There just a money grab

eSIM is not transferrable so if you deleted it or eSIM failed you have to buy a new one and then transfer number/service through My Account.

I already have a physical sim from another provider which I use as main line. This Public Mobile connection is a back-up line so I can only install it as an e-sim. iPhone only has a slot for 1 physical sim. There should be a way to transfer e-sim to new device from an old device by paying for the e-sim once and not buying again and again. Disappointed.

@boomerang_us Yes unfortunately that’s why I prefer physical sim your just swap it out . But with eSIM you need to rebuy everytime you change devices or if you delete by accident. Or factory data reset to trouble shoot means we buying the eSIM

The method mentioned above is asking for $5 which I already paid when I converted the Physical Sim to an E-Sim. Do I need to pay it again?

@boomerang_us You will have to log into the app with new phone and re but one from subscription add on page . Notice “ shop sim card now “ tap it and choose eSIM and install
Or call around to local Telus kood store to pick up physical SIM card or order from Amazon $4.99 there right now and never have to rebuy esim again when charging a phone . And go onto your account profile page and sim swap the number
