Hi @rudolfbc
mixed service it means that you will be able to place the call from the Public Mobile SIM card, and receive them on the previous provider one until the transfer is complete.
also is mention by @darlicious

As already stated. Mixed service means both your cell phone and land line will be using the same phone number. Until the port completes incoming calls will go to your landline. Outgoing calls will work on your cell phone and may still work on your landline. Once your port completes all services on your landline will cease and all services on your cell phone will work Until the port completes you will have "Mixed services".

Hi @rudolfbc
When you transfer a landline number, the process can take up 3 to 6 business days. You may experience mixed service during this process until the transfer is complete. When your number transfer is complete, you will receive a confirmation text message.

This is in reference to the fact that your cell phone and landline will both be operating as using the same phone number but that incoming communications will only work on your landline until porting has completed (usually a few days later).
