If after you followed all of @Dunkman 's advice and you are still having an issue have you possibly purchased two US roaming add ons with a talk feature?
Do your calls drop after approximately 53 seconds? If so you have either bought two add ons or a weird glitch has returned requiring a CSA to remove your US roaming add on and re-add it to your account.
You can contact customer support by clicking on the chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your screen and type in "US roaming add on dropping calls" and "human" and follow the prompts to submit your ticket via Simple--Simon. Keep an eye on your private message box the envelope icon next to your avatar at the top right corner of your screen for a little number to pop indicating a message from a CSA.

Do you see the 10 day US roaming add on in your self service account?
Try manually selecting the US carrier, T mobile or AT&T.
Other basic troubleshooting advice:
Reboot phone
Network reset
Toggle airplane mode on, then off.

@Moonjelly : Do you see the roaming add-ons after clicking the Plan Details link? Do you see only 1 talk component? If you bought data do you see it on the overview page under My Data & Add-ons?
Edit: Buying add-ons is a two step process. 1. add money, 2. buy add-on. You might only have done step 1 even though it really seems you had bought the add-on.
