Double paid by accident/refund?

I was trying to pay for my next top up however my wifi went out, I resubmitted my payment again thinking it didn't go through. Is it possible for my last payment to be refunded back to my payment method?

There is no refund policy at PM's prepaid service.

There will be a credit on your account which you can use for the next cycle's renewal.

Else contact CC company and they can reverse one of the two payment transactions if the amount was same and time was close.

@chester15   did you login to My Account again and confirm if the duplicated payment is there as Available Fund on My Account ?  If  it is there, in fact, it is better to let it stay in the account and it will be used for your next cycle renewal.

PM is prepaid and hence it is up to PM CS Agent to decide if a refund can be made.  Also, it might take 2 or 3 weeks.

If you still want to try to request the refund,  click on the Bubble or directly at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot. Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

  1. Start by typing "Overcharge"
  2. then click "Contact Us"
  3. then click "Click here to submit a ticket"
  4. you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

It may be possible to get a refund by submitting a ticket however, as some other users mentioned on this forum, a refund might take 30 days to process. In that case, it may be better to just leave the credit on your account.
