Does-public mobile solicit upgrade your plan via text?

My mil keeps getting texts to upgrade. It doesn’t need or want to is this normal?

HI@Chrissyrioux12  , yes, be careful.   Some phones so smart and try to pop up possible replies (Like Yes or NO) , and we heard so many picked the YES by accident.

If you have access to the account then just check a day or two before the renewal in case the yes happened. It would appear as a scheduled plan change.

These are promotional SMS from PM everybody gets. No way to avoid them unless you block Every single one which is not advisable.

@Chrissyrioux12  yes, PM started  to promo via text lately

You can simply ignore it

 

you can also reply STOP to stop them.  But be careful, you won't be receiving any message from that same shortcode.  I would not suggest doing that if the texts not bother you too much

Yes @Chrissyrioux12 , customers may receive promotional texts via Public Mobile to upgrade plans or make phone purchases.

 

If a customer wishes to unsubscribe, they can by asking CSA's to remove them from that list.

 

To contact a Customer Support Agent, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type Customer Support Agent, then select Contact Us, then select Other (or the topic that more closely matches your request).  Click the result which states Click here to submit a ticket and follow the prompts,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the Customer Support Agent by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.
