Does porting my number to another carrier automatically cancel my subscription?

I have no way to cancel my decit card on my account. I cant get access to my account. I can log in to here but not to cancel my account. I went back to telus as I needed a new phone and I know Telus owns Public Mobile but I have a feeling I bet I get charged as it was on Auto pay

Yes, it does but I would still strongly suggest to ask agent to remove your credit card info from you PM account BEFORE you initiate porting out.
There ware cases when people have been charged even after porting out/closing account.

Your community account will NOT be deleted after your PM phone account is closed so you can always come back and ask questions.

Hi @DaveH72 

Yes, it automatically closes your account. Just make sure you keep your PM SIM card in there to get the porting request.
