Do I need add on to travel in US?

I have a Canada-US 5g plan. Do I need add on to call from US to Canada and call friends in US. Will also be using data while travelling.

@rooster2   No you don't need an add-on with a Canada-US plan, it should work for calling US to Canada and vice versa and within each country.  You might get a reminder text about roaming add ons when you cross the border but you can ignore it.  Do you  have a PM VoLTE approved phone?  If not voice calls could be an issue (in the US only).

if you have Canada US Plan, you don't need any extra addon 

with the plan, you can call and text from US to Canada as well as call and text from US to US, of course you can use data while in US

just make sure you turn on Roaming data, and try to connect to T-Mobile or AT&T or Verizon.  Sometimes if it does not connect well, choose manual connection and try all 3 networks
