Yes, thank you. The issue of slow speeds occurs not only inside the Costco building but also in the surrounding outdoor areas.

@billabc I believe you mean you are in the general area of the Costco in Newmarket rather than inside the store? You should have a good signal in that area, probably best to contact customer support, send a private message to them using this link and monitor your community inbox for a reply, either at the envelope icon top right or click on your avatar and select Messages.

The Costco on the west coast, BC and Pacific NW, WA offers free wifi at their stores now.

@billabc Costco's are notorious for poor signal because of the way the warehouse is built, signal struggles to get through. Thankfully Costco has wifi now.
One thing you can try is forcing your phone into 4G preferred vs 5G, because 5G doesn't penetrate structures as well. This is set in the network settings on your phone.
Either way though, don't use inside a Costco as your benchmark to determine signal strength.
EDIT: sorry I just saw your post to say you tried LTE already. How is your service in other areas, or even in the parking lot at Costco?

What plan are you on? What does the apn address say?

I'm an iPhone user experiencing strong cell signal but extremely slow data speeds, to the point where I can't connect to the Internet at all. I've attempted adjusting my settings to Auto 5G, 5G on, and LTE, but none of these options have resolved the issue.

Yes, it's the Costco located in Newmark, Ontario. I've been facing this problem since I first subscribed in October 2023.

hi @billabc
Android or iPhone? you get better signal and speed elsewhere?
can you check network mode, are you using Automatic? or 5G Auto or 5G On? or 3G or 4G? Try to change to 4G or LTE and let us know if it is better

@billabc Do you mean Newmarket, Ontario? Is this just right now, or an ongoing problem in that location?
