Data reset date

Ok... if my cycle is currently:

  • Payment Due Before: Jun 15, 2021

What date do my data and minutes reset? I would think it would be June 15th since that's when the new cycle starts. But it appears to be June 16th. So I'm confused

Hoping somebody can answer that for me. If the payment is due before June 15th, when does my data reset to zero for usage for the month?

I too always used to think monthly, and not every 30 days when our plans renew.  Hope that clears up the confusion of your data reset date!

😝

@2kbray I would say you are best to get an app (has @hTideGnow posted).

If you are android, try this one:

Data Witness app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detailsid=com.iwik.datawitnesspm&hl=en_CA&gl=US

I use this one myself and it gives me exactly what I need from it.

EDIT - yeah as @HALIMACS "JUST" posted! 😆

If you are an Apple user, I am sure there is a 30-day app that is available as well.

@2kbray

A prior public mobile user created an Android app called Data Witness PM,

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iwik.datawitnesspm

which allows a user to track one's data on public mobile cycles.

Give it a go!!!

@2kbray

The before part is very important in pm terminology. It doesn't mean on or after....before means before 11:59:59 pm eastern time zone. So for your next renewal before 11:59:59 pm eastern on the 14th.

try using app to keep track of the 30 days cycle.

For Android, try Data Counter Widget.  Its free, it does 30 days cycle and it has widget you can put on the Home Screen for easy checking.

Ohhhh!!! That's what happens then. When I signed up months ago it used to be the 17th, then it went to the 16th. And now it's the 15th.

Because it's going on the 30-day cycle. It makes sense now. That's a little annoying that we have to change that date like that in the phone's counter. Instead of just the same day every month. But at least I know what I'm dealing with now. Thanks for clearing that up.

@2kbray  are you getting the data reset date from your phone counter?  Please remember PM is running on a 30 days cycle.  Your phone built-in counter usually count monthly and it will reset it based on same date of each month.

 @2kbray : Where are you getting the 16th? That date to pay before is the first day of your new term. All the counters reset at midnight ET (12:01am ET of that day)
