FYI, if you change plans immediately, you will be charged the full plan rate. Public mobile does not pro-rate plans if you change earlier. Also, if you original plan is grandfathered, you will not be able to change back to the original plan afterwards.
Otherwise, you can try to contact Customer service agent to see if agent will credit your account. YMMV.

Normally, public mobile is a prepaid service, no refund.
please send a message to the CS Agent through the following link, describe your situation, that you will upgrade and the data, they may be able to give you a credit.
