Data priority

What is the priority in which data and data add-ons are used?

Lets say I have a 250 MB data plan per month, and I also purchase a 1 GB data add-on.

When I use data, does it go through my 250 MB of data first before subtracting from my 1 GB?

Or is the priority to eliminate the data add-on before hitting the monthly data-plan?

Your plan data is used first then your add-on is used until it is depleted.
