Data not working last two days

Hey I don’t know what is happening but my data is not working. I still have data available, my husbands account is doing the same thing. This is preventing me from getting iMessages 

any idea what is going on or how to fix?

@Rbomb - While you figure out why data is not working, you can still send regular SMS.

perform the following steps to try and help:

  1. Connect to the internet using WiFi or Data.
  2. Go to Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage OFF.
  3. Turn your iPhone off completely, then turn it back on.
  4. Go back into Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage ON.
  5. Make sure “Send as SMS” is also turned ON.

Try resetting the network. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network.

Once you reset, you need to enter your wifi password.

The Self Serve website doesn't always show the correct amount of data remaining.  If you dial, 611, there is an option to check the add-on usage.  That option doesn't actually tell you add-on usage (despite what it says), but does inform you of how much data is remaining on the account to use.  If you're completely out of data, more will need to be purchased.

@Rbomb  Make sure cellular data is on and maybe try to and preferred network is set to 4G /LTE or automatic and reboot the device
