For some reason, my data is not registering on my cell phone. I have ample data (156/1054), and no where close to my limit, but my phone will only connect to the internet when I'm on wifi.

Is it possible you used all of your data?
Double and triple check your APN if it still doesn't work send a private message to the mods.
How can you get help with your account, activation, or service?
- Please contact the Community Moderator Team to get help with your account.
- They are Public Mobile support employees who can help with your issue (More details).
In your message please include:
- PM Phone Number, 4 digit PIN, Account email address, Detailed explanation of your issue.
Don't know your pin?--provide any 3 of the following:
- Complete mailing address, Email address, Alternate phone number, Date of birth, Last top-up date & amount
How long until they reply?:
- Office Hours: Mon-Friday 9 am to 9 pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 7:30 pm [Toronto Time]
- Messages are replied to during office hours, in the order in which they are received
- Typical response time is between 1-3 hours, depending on how many messages in the queue, but can be up to 48 hours.
- There is no need to send multiple messages. In fact, each message you send will put you all the way to the back of the line.

@Franz1986, if you need assistance, you need to tell us more. Is this a new plan, did data work before, does it seem like other services work.....
My data doesn’t work doesn’t give us any clue as to how to help you.

For data to work on your phone using the Public Mobile network you must setup the APN (Access point names) settings. Click here to see the APN setup article.
Please note even if you have a 3G speed plan it will still show you are on the 4G LTE network they just throttle you to 3G speeds. It may take up to 72 hours for the throttle to be applied to your account so enjoy the high speed while you have it.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Not sure what happened yesterday (perhaps it was an outage as our house internet went down too).
I've done a hard reboot of my phone, and it seems to be working now.
Toggling airplane mode, etc...all the soft reboots...did nothing.
Had to do a hard reboot.

@rjandj There was a network problem across Canada yesterday, but it should be resolved by now. Looks like there's a few issues still going on. Maybe you are in affected area?
Please, check here: click here

@rjandj, Since this was working previously, has anything happened since the last time you were able to use data? Did you go through an account renewal? Did you go out of the country temporarily? Have you checked your APN settings?
If you have more info, perhaps someone will be able to help you here.
If it is a problem on the network (Publick Mobile) side, then you would need the assistance of the moderators (via private message).
If needed, click here to send them a private message.
