Current Boxing Week deals expiry time?

The current Boxing Week plan deals state (as of Jan 4, 2026), quote: "These deals only last until Jan 5*."

Does that mean they expire at the end of Jan 4th or the end of Jan 5th, 2026?

In either case the time zone being used as reference is not specified either.

I am considering adding a second account. I haven't decided whether to do that or not and I just wanted to know exactly how long I have to ponder it.

if you are very specific with time, from experience, if they say the deal is good till Jan 5th, they will take down the deal morning on Jan 5th, shortly after 8 or 9am ET

But from previous experience they could also update the page and extend the date for the deal at that time, too

Do you need to hold on for activation? it is just one day, do it today

Promo end dates usually based on Eastern Time by 11:59 PM.  

I am not a PM employee, but I assume it should end by the end of Jan 5th by 11:59 PM ET.  However, I can't guarantee it.  To be on same side, I would just activate today if really interested in the plans. 

Often PM wil extend these promos after the date, but we are not PM staff, so we wouldn't know.

It would only take a few characters of text on the website somewhere for PM to articulate this clearly. I fail to understand why they shouldn't, or therefore why anyone should even need to ask.

unless they extend it (which i don't think they did that for boxing day deal), it usually mean the deals are just good till end of day today

do you need to wait to activate?

Well, does one day make a difference if you REALLY want any of deals?

Rule of thumb is 0 if you see it - take it NOW and do not wait last day
