Have you noticed that the base Canada-US-Mexico New activation plan increased from $30 to $34 in the last month. This is not the best time to sign up.
What I have noticed is that the prices get jacked up between sales (Back-to-School, Black Friday, Boxing Day) so that the deals look so much better in comparison.
If you really need to sign up for Public Mobile at this time, you would be so much better off signing up for the cheapest $19 4G 1GB plan to start.
If you are currently on the $19, plan, the following current Change Subscription plans are so much better than the new activation plans:
$20 4G 3GB
$23 4G 6GB
$29 5G 20GB CUSM
Remember to "change on renewal" so as not to lose any money. Good luck.

Even if a new subscriber requires lots of data, it is still advisable for them to subscribe to a cheaper plan to start. Recently, PM has offered better change on renewal plans than new activation.
For example, if a new subscriber needs 5G 60GB CUSM, a new activation would cost $36 per month. However, if the same new subscriber were to start off with the $29 plan, they should find that the same 5G 60GB CUSM plan would only cost $35 per month on a change on renewal. They could save themselves $12 per year by first activating with a cheaper plan.

Glad that I opted for the $29/20GB CA-US-MX plan that was available for me to select last month as it suits my minimal data requirements most excellently

Plan prices go up and down all the time. Wait a bit and the better price might come. Of course, if people cannot wait, choose the best plan out of the available ones

This new plan price almost reads like a pricing error. Right next to it is the $36/60GB USMCA plan.

HI @Handy1
i don't see the $15 is back for new activaton
still only Quebec has the $16 for new activation. All other provinces have $19 plan as the cheapest option for new activation

@funpig1 Yes I noticed that too , I also see they brought back the $15 plan to for new activations , not quite as good as the recent $15 plan upgrade that was available to existing customers last week but still come with 100 long distance mins just not unlimited Canada wide mins

thanks @funpig1 for posting
but if someone wants a 20+ GB plan, I don't think many would be willing to wasted $19 first and choose another plan.
And while Change on Renewal is what we suggest all the time, it is hard for anyone who originally wants a 20+gb plan to settle for a 1GB plan for a month first.
