My credit card always shows payment to Public Mobile.  My wife’s first payment shows Koodo. .?

What am I missing?

@Pipcan  - don't panic, there is nothing fraudulent happening.

Telus owns both Koodo and Public Mobile.

Something must be set up in Public Mobile's back-end activation system that lists Koodo as the vendor.

@Pipcan

While the charge is legitimate the KOODO merchant name has only been occurring for the past couple of months and is as @Anonymous  rightly insists an overlooked possibly dangerous glitch that should be addressed by pm in a timely manner to prevent more customers from suffering sudden account deactivations for practising financial prudence.

If I buy a double double at Timmy's I don't expect to see a Burger King charge on my credit card statement. Actually I don't expect to see either of them......

@Pipcan   Many said only the activation payment will be via Koodo and the renewal one will be with Public Mobile .. let us know if this is the case when your wife plan renews.

 @Pipcan : I happen to think it's very wrong. A customer not long ago actually inadvertently stopped their service thinking they got a fraudulent charge.

This is known issue with PM payment.

Every month the withdrawing company name can change, just confirm the amount withdrawn and you will be good.
