Hello,
I'm a new subscriber to public mobile. I recently joined on the Canada USA Mexico plan and it is now $16 cheaper per month. I feel like public mobile should allow me to price adjust since I'm a new user. The boxing Day special ends tomorrow, January 6th. Can you please make this happen? It doesn't feel good to be a new user and suddenly to see the same plan way cheaper!!

@RedDot The $30 plan is not a US or Mexico plan, no. And this won't help you get access to the $29 plan, but it will help you get access to the $35/75GB Can/US/Mex plan if you like.
If you really want the $29 plan you'll need to sign up as a new customer. You can do that now under a new email address and get the account setup with a temporary number. Then once that's done setup a new account with another provider, and start the process of porting your active Public Mobile number to that provider. Lucky Mobile is an option, as they have free esims and plans starting at $15. Once you can confirm the number has ported out successfully (incoming calls and texts to your number work), then you can go into your NEW Public Mobile account and request a phone number change; you'll have an option here to port your number back from Lucky Mobile or whatever provider you decided to use.

@DennyCrane thanks for your message. I don't need more than 20GB. Is the $30 plan you mentioned Canada-USA-Mexico too? I'm new to Public Mobile and don't really know how this works and can't seem to speak to anyone who works there. Can you please give me the steps to change my plan either to the $29/m that expires today or to a similar plan to the one I have for $30? Thank you

@RedDot It doesn't look like you're comparing apples to apples, as like-for-like plans have not gone down $16 in cost. I suspect you have a $45 plan (maybe 75GB?) and you're now referring to the $29 plan which includes 20GB, but please clarify.
If you are in fact paying $45/month, you could downgrade to the $29/20GB plan by porting out temporarily and then porting back as a new customer. Or if you want the $35/75GB plan there is a workaround to change NOW to the $30 plan, and then you'll unlock the $35 option to change into at next renewal. This workaround doesn't work to get into the $29 plan though.

@RedDot I know what you mean! But they are trying to attract new customers daily. Did you ask them already?
Very unlikely that they will do it. Use the orange bubble on your screen and ask or at the link below.

Hello @RedDot
Public Mobile is a prepaid service. You pay for what plan you want. If you don't care about your number, there is nothing stopping you from getting a second account using a different email address and then turning off auto pay on the pricier account. Then you're golden! However, if you want to keep your number or ported in, you can always port back out and then back in. It's a lot of work but in the end, you have to ask yourself if it's worth it.
