I moved from New Brunswick to Alberta, can I change the province code? because my number shows up as if I live in another province.

If you don't want to change your phone number, you can buy PM voucher and pay GST only.  As long as your autopay is enabled, you still get the autopay reward.  Make sure that you load your account with voucher before your renewal day.

Ok, I'll think about it!

@Zemlianoi   You have to get a new number (not "buy") from there.  Yes, they cannot just change the province (area code) and keep the number

So, if you are willing to do so, pick a new number there that belongs to Alberta.  Good thing is that, tax is based on where the number belongs to.  If you get an AB number, it will charge a lesser tax as AB tax rate is lower

I tried to do this, but the system prompts me to buy a new number or Transfer a wireless or wireline number from another provider.

But I would like to keep my number and change only the area code, is this possible?

Thank you, I'll try!
