Change plan

I would like to change my plan to the $40 one, but it says I will lose any promotions I am currently having. What does this mean? will I lose my rewards discount?

It is always better to change plan on next renewal so you do not pay more than you need. It is really painless and works well. But you can always change plan Now if new plan offers something you desperately need immediately (data, outgoing minutes) and your cost calculation can justify it.

@Janja   Unless you really need extra data immediately, you're better off to always schedule the change for next renewal as PM doesn't prorate or refund for the existing plan.

@Meow @dabr Thank you so much for confirming I will keep my rewards. Would it make a difference if I choose to change my plan now and not to wait until next bill cycle?

You will Not lose rewards you already have on your account: loyalty, referrals, autopay, Christmas bonuses, etc.

What you might lose is promo (if any) related to particular plan when you signed up like '2Gb for 1 year for $25 plan'.

@Janja   Any regular rewards like loyalty, autopay, RAF will stay with your account and do not get affected by plan changes.  If you  activated with a promo data, that may be lost depending on the the terms of the promo.
