Change my name on system when making a call

I want to change my name displayed on the system when making a call?

Currently still showing the name of the previous owner.

@Howard_HD72 PM does not pass name info to the receiving end

the reason they see a different name could be that they have some third party apps that do number-name resolve.  For example, TrueCaller is one of those apps and  Samsung phones come with Hiya service for name lookup

You can ask your friend if he/she installed any app for Caller id lookup or the brand of phone he/she uses.  Then you will have to check with those app provider and ask the name to be updated

Unfortunately, Public mobile itself does not show outgoing name display like other mobile companies.  Did you get the number from Public mobile?  or porting from another company?  

Public mobile does show number display.  If your friends have your phone number on the contact list, your name should show up when you call them.
