My carrier is showing up as public mobile and my iMessage is showing up as verifying. I will not be able to receive any messages from my previous carrier. Which I need to properly switch over.
You need to take out the Public Mobile SIM card and put in your other carrier card that you're porting from to get the text message. If you don't do it within 1.5 hours, you'll have to call a certain number to re trigger the text again.
