Just activated a sim card and bought the $25 per month plan. I sent a test text to my other phone, tried calling it and tried receiving a call from my other phone. It is telling me I need to purchase an add-on? Both numbers are local numbers. Help?

You might want to try your PM SIM card in another phone. To determine if it is a hardware issue versus Public mobile issue.
Activating a new number should be quick. If it is a Public mobile issue, you will need to contact moderator.

Try going into self-serve and reporting phone as lost/stolen. Reactivate a few minutes later. If that doesn't work, send message to moderator_team using link https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Did you use a new number or port your old phone number?
