I get this message "call cannot be completed cause my plan does not include a US roaming add on."
Why do I need a roaming add on. I am not in the US?

More specifically, there is no option to "turn of roaming" (I think you are referring to the "data roaming" setting, at least on Android) - but I recommend looking for the option to disable "Automatic network selection" and then specifically picking the option for "Public Mobile"." Then it will try to stay connected to that network, even if the signal from a USA tower is stronger.

if you're closer to a border, your phone is just switching to stronger US signal
In setting, select Public Mobile .
In any case, you won't be billed for any overage or extra $$.

@Lil3 if you are not living close to the border, then no worry, it is just a glitch on the system.
However, you will need PM Support to fix it, please engage them:
1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (requires access to My Account): click this Chatbot Ticket Link
Then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" to open the ticket submission page
Next, enter your Community login, then enter your question. Finally use My Account login or 4 digits PIN to validate.
