I bought a 15 day talk/text to use while in NY. I am here from Nova Scotia and I cannot call home. I have the receipt for my payment. What do I do now?

Try to change the network mode to 4G or LTE, make sure VoLTE is enabled and try both AT&T and T-Mobile.
If you have no VoLTE or connection still fails, change the network to 2G and try again using T-Mobile.

@Josey123 Reboot the phone and make sure your concert to TMobile or AT&T if your phone doesn’t have voLTE you will have to try and connect to 2G on phone settings and only connect to T mobile . Without voLTE voice can be hit or miss unfortunately

Critical part to US roaming depends on T-Mobile/AT&T coverage and whether you can connect successfully onto either network.
If the phone is not connecting to T-Mobile/AT&T, change the Network Connection from Automatic to Manual and select and test both T-Mobile and AT&T and see which one you can connect.
For your voice issues, make sure VoLTE is enabled on the device setting. And if it does not work, try to change the Network to T-Mobile ONLY, and change Preferred Network Type or Network Mode to 2G and see if the calls go through.
Also, you can download VoIP app TextNow as a workaround to make calls and text if you have Wifi or if your roaming has data component and data is working
