I've noticed some addons have 30 day expire dates. Does the Canada-wide Talk Booster 500 for $5 expire after 30 days or is it "use it as you go" type of purchase.

Talking Add-Ons do Not Expire, roll over till consumed, Data Add-Ons used to be Roll-Over, Now 30 Day, which I believe is a mistake

Just the DATA addons are 30 days after purchase. The 500 canada wide minutes stays on your account until used up @Chalupa_Batman EDIT, note the plan minutes will always be used first upon each renewal.
