Canada to US texting included in plans

Hello! Can someone that has used it clarify for me that the plans (especially the black friday $34 20G plan) includes Canada to USA texting? 

Want to switch my senior mother oven to public, but she needs to text back and forth with someone in the USA regularly. She has been told this was included in other plans before and ended up getting tons of overage charges and put on a more expensive plan. 🙄

There's no such thing as free here. You pay for it in the plan cost. The word is "included".

FREE Domestic and International texting is included in ALL PM plans as long as you are in Canada. From USA you would need US add-on.

All current plans offer free texting to anywhere in the world, from Canada.

PM is a prepaid service so if the detail is not in her plan…it won’t work and won’t be charged. Postpaid plans with other carriers will charge at the end of the cycle.

Yes her plan will cover unlimited texting to the USA while she is in Canada but she will need a LD Add-on calling if she decides to call her friend but that won’t be an issue if you help her download the WhatsApp so she can call or text through wifi for free.

All current plans will support that. For peace of mind, keep in mind that PM is prepaid and there are no overage charges - if you try to do something that your plan doesn’t have, it will simply not work.
