Can the 500 mins one-time Int'l LD bonus be used to make calls from within the US

Hello, 

I am travelling to the US this weekend and I was wondering if I could use the 500 mins one-time Int'l LD bonus that I have on my account to make and receive calls while I am there or do I need to get a roaming package?

HI @mmb7   The LD bonus is to use to call from Canada to other counties

NOT to be used when you are in US.  You will need Roaming addon for that

However, if you want to save money, use VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo.  It is free, and you use it like a real phone, just that you have to use it on the app

No. These 500 LD minutes are for use from Canada only.

While in US nothing from Plan will work unless you have US add-on.

@mmb7 hi no that is for calling to the US from canada you will need a raoming package but I would get a lacal sim personally

Only roaming add-ons will work in the states. You can receive texts without them as long as you connect to either AT&T or T-Mobile.

Talk is in deep flux right now. Connect to T-Mobile to be able to use their old 2G network as long as your phone can do 2G.
