I tried to transfer to public mobile so I followed all the instructions for the eSIM. The data worked for about 10 min then all service got lost. After about 5 hours it still didn’t work so I asked the public mobile chatbot what to do and it see I can redownload it up to 3 times. So I deleted the eSIM and tried using the QR code to re add the eSIM. But it is not working now.

hi @wjarviscross you can login the app and rebuy?
no worries about the $5, support agent can reimburse (as replacement of eSIM is supposedly free). Just ask by submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".
If any issue with ticket submission, you can submit by direct message:

Thanks for the help everyone, I downloaded a new eSIM for $5 on the public mobile app and it worked perfectly. Annoying that I had to pay $5 but at least its working.

I think you can stay with eSIM, you just need support agent to help. Please submit ticket by direct message here

If you want to try that, then open a ticket and start a conversation with an agent. To do this, click on the link below, click on "Click here to get started", and tell the chatbot that you'd like to open a ticket. Tell the agent you are having difficulties connecting with your eSIM and you'd like to download a new one, and they will help:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/send-us
Customer Support Agents are available from Monday to Sunday 9 AM to 10 PM EST
Or, you can just delete your eSIM on your phone, buy a new eSIM through the app, and the system will send you a new QR code. But fair warning here: doing the same thing and expecting a different result is a predictable waste of time.
Hope this helps,
Dave

Is there a way to just get a new qr code to try again? I would much rather have an eSIM than a physical SIM.

Sorry to hear you having trouble. I went through this headache a few weeks ago. eSIMs seem to be glitchy. If you google this problem you will get lots of tips and advice, like making sure your phone's OS is updated, rebooting, doing a factory reset of your phone - some of this stuff might help. What I ended up doing is going to a Telus store and buying a public mobile SIM for $10. It solved all of my connectivity problems. I recommend bailing actually on your eSIM, and just getting a physical SIM. You can buy one through the phone app, you can pick one up at a Telus or Kudoo store, or you can order one off Amazon (they are $10 right now on Amazon). If you open a ticket with Public Mobile and ask nicely they might credit back the physical SIM cost, so keep the receipt! Hope this helps,
Dave
