I just switched my plan from fido to PB last Thursday night. But I still can't receive text messages from others, I can't send messages to some people (Shaw customers). I can only receive messages from PB customers.
What is the problem? Anyone can help me with this?

thank you! It's fixed! I did call them but it kept me waiting a long time I had to give up. I emailed them regarding the problem, someone from telus contacted me and solved this problem.

I presume you responded YES to the port authorization request upon moving here?

Have you checked your RCS settings (iMessage or Chat) to see if maybe they're impacting certain SMS functions?
I presume calling in and out works to all these folks? Check that too...

@wildwest Sounds like your port request got stuck and isn't finished.
