Hi all,
I've just ported my number from Telus earlier today. I can receive and make phone calls no problem but I can't seem to receive any text messages. Any ideas for fixing this?

The text can take anywhere from 30 mins to 3 days. In my experience it is usually less then an hour but my roommates took 2 days. Usually most of the features work except one until that message is recieved.

Yes, I've just checked and it includes international texting.
I have a Galaxy s5.
I received an email titled "Your Public Mobile Activation Details" about 4 hours ago. Is that the magic message I am to be waiting for or is there an actual text message that will be sent to me?

Log into your account to be sure your plan includes texting.
What is make/model of your phone?

No text yet. How long does that usually take? How come I can make/receive phone calls if my port hasn't been completed yet?

Have you gotten the text message to say your port was complete, welcome to public mobile? If not there is your answer. Time is a virtue 🙂
