I switched to Public mobile 3 days ago. I can’t call anyone or send texts. Just the data works. What am I doing wrong?

Yayyyy thank you. Taking out the old sim worked. Thanks a lot

make sure the sim card for the old carrier is removed.  if the old one is an esim , disable it.

then reboot the phone, and then  Reset Network settings 

if calls still an issue after all these, then ask PM to confirm if the setup was any issue.    Since you cannot properly login (problem with 2FA) , you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket.  So, you will need to message them here

so did you use the PM app to activate your account ? Did you port your old number to PM ? Maybe try to reboot your cellphone see if that helps.

@Blossom333 , by chance do you have multiple SIMs on your phone?  If so, you need to enable the Public Mobile SIM as the primary for talk and text.
