I recently switched to Public Mobile and I’m not able to make calls to US. However, calls to Canada are not a problem. When I make calls to US, I am getting a message saying I don’t have enough minutes or I have used all my minutes, so I need to purchase new minutes

@ramgi I think it was easily done because up to March 4th it was Canada-US, then when that offer finished there was the $34 Canada only with the same amount of data. As @fixin said, you could change plans to one of the other Canada-US offers but bear in mind that if you select "change now" you will not get a refund of the remainder of your current plan. Make sure to select change on renewal. If you need to call the US before then you can get the US long distance calling minutes add-on to tide you over. If you are planning on going to the US you would need a US roaming add-on.

Is there any way to change my subscription without losing the amount I paid yesterday?
There isn't a way to do that. You can try getting a roaming add on temporarily and choosing the next Canada US plan from $39 with 60GB or the $40 75GB Canada US plan on renewal.

The only reason I changed my carrier is make use of the new CAN/US plan.
looks like there are no refund for public mobile plans

@ramgi Are you certain you got the Canada/US plan and not the Canada-only plan which is the same price and data bucket amount (although unlimited data in the case of the Canada-only)

@ramgi - Are you trying to call one of these phone numbers? They aren't supported with PM. Calls made to numbers starting with the following six digit combinations are not included in US calling from Canada and will not be completed when dialed: 712-432, 605-562, 641-552, 605-475, 605-477, 712-775, 559-726.
