Can't log in on phone app

Using my laptop I can log into my account using email and password. Trying to log in using PM app on my Samsung S20FE phone it isn't possible. I enter my email address and password and the "LOG IN" box won't light up. The "SIGN UP" box lights up. If I follow along and go this route an EVERSAFE ID is prompted to be created. It says I can use my account email address to create this ID. I tap "GET STARTED" and the next screen is "CREATE YOUR EVERSAFE ID"  I enter my email address and I get a red notice saying "AN EXISTING EVERSAFE ID ALREADY EXISTS WITH THIS EMAIL ADDRESS" At this point I can go no further. I hit "CONFIRM" but the screen just blinks and stays the same. No log in to my account by phone app is possible.

I have been caught by that on logins to other services, so it was a learned process… 😉

So that you know what the button is, accepting a post as solution does not "close" the thread. It's actually to indicate what the answer (or best answer) is to your question. If you wish, you could undo that accept as solution on your post by clicking the little down arrow in the upper right of your post and then selecting not solution and then perhaps clicking accept as solution on the post that you replied to and thanked.

As I typed my address autofill did the rest. I just noticed the .com at the end was missing for some reason. I added it in the address and was able to log on. Wow! So obvious and I totally missed it. Thank you!

I know this may sound silly, however, are you typing in the full email address character by character or allowing an auto fill process to put the email address in the field?

The reason I ask this is some auto fill processes insert spaces in places before or after the auto fill, which may prompt sign in errors.

1. I uninstalled the PM app

2. I clear cache of Chrome and Google

3. I rebooted the phone

4. I reinstalled the PM app

5. Still can't log in, same thing happens.

Below my email address in red it says "PLEASE ENTER A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS. this also happened before. There is a red X on the line with my email address. I did this whole process two times.

Also my app version is not the new 1.2.0, not sure how to get it.

for your PM app, please try

  1. First , uninstall the PM app
  2. On your phone's default browser, clear the browser cache
  3. Reboot the phone once
  4. reinstall PM app
  5. You should be able to login with PM app now
