Can’t get support

Seems impossible to get a hold of a person. I raised a ticket earlier today and still no response. Have no idea how to check on it either. How do I get an actual person to respond to me so I can have a conversation and get my problems resolved. Thoroughly unimpressed with this service.

yes, it is frustrating.  Please work with Agent on that.

 

@tm432  Yes I agree . Did you check your inbox for a response from them ? If you didn’t please submit another ticket and watch for their reply . Fingers crossed you get a good resolve

Hi Handy1,

It's completely unacceptable to take money for a service and not provide it.  Public is legally required to pay me back if not ethically, prepaid or not.

Sorry service yes but I also want a refud of the money they have already charged me for a service I have yet to receive.  I have not even got to the point of being given or setting a 'pin' yet.   I also need to make sure I can have my number ported to a new provider in a timely manner.

@tm432  Also if you don’t care about the phone number . You know when you were last charged so 30 days from that last charge PM will  be looking to take money again . So just pause your credit card day before and after the renewal  day unpause the credit card .it will go suspended and will automatically close in 90 days nothing more to do . You can be done with PM without support or even logging 

Adding PM is pre  paid so no refunds anyways

support usually reply within 2 hours.  Did you check the Community inbox?

you said you want to cancel the "contract"? you meant you want to cancel the service? if you know the 4 digits pin, you can dial *611 from your phone and disable Autopay there

Still no service on my phone and still no response to my messages sent yesterday afternoon about how to cancel this terrible service.  I have been charged for a service I am not receiving and my request to cancel my contract has had no response yet either.  If anyone knows a way of getting the agents to actually respond to your private messages in a reaonable amount of time please let me know.  I have never been so thoroughly disappointed in a cell phone provider in my life and that is saying a lot.

Public Mobile isn't for everyone, i hope your able to find similar deals somewhere else. 😁

Around here the pros work out the cons, it's a love and hate relationship but the rates are the best in Canada.

Once your familiar with how to use The Communtiy and contact a Customer Support Agent, it's a breeze and feels easier than talking to someone on the phone at times. 😊

I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you, please keep in mins you won't receive any sort of Refund or Credit back if you close your Account early and go to another Provider. Public is a prepaid provider so any plan paid for upfront is 'final sale'.

Just signed up and tried to have eSim set up but it didn't work.  Said to contact Customer Support but that took hours to figure out as **bleep** woudl not let me raise a ticket and there.  Finally raised a ticket and it took hours to get a response.  They asked for info to verify it is me and I repsonded with that now going on another hour and no response.  Lesson in how to not do customer service.  95% decided to cancel this plan and find a different provider.  Not willing to go through this nonsense every time there is an issue.  I can understand not having a call center but not even being able to chat to a huan being in real time is not worth saving a couple dollars per month.

Exactly what @Handy1 said. We here, are customers like you. We do our best to help you out before we send you to customer service. There are a ton of folks here who know their stuff and can help figure things out. And if not, CS Agent it is. But I'm sure you knew that before you signed up for Public Mobile. PM is a community of members that help. No real customer service. That's how prices stay low! 😀
