Can I refer to a friend after I've registered?

Where is this from? I had understood that the mods can apply referral information after the fact. If self-activated not in a store then they'd both be eligible for the $25 (currently).

My *opinion* would be that it would be nice of them to do a little something as goodwill but otherwise tough toodles.

Probably not as the requirement for the $10 is the same (must enter referral number during activation).
