Can I port my number from another provider at a later time?

I am activating my new SIM card, I was wondering if I could pick a number for now, and port my number from another provider at a later time?

yes, you can get a new number first, then port in old number afterwards

you can do it by logging in My Account, and pick Transfer phone number from the Profile page.

Yes, you can and I usually advise new customers to create an account, activate SIM, pick any available number, confirm service is working as expected and only Then transfer number.

Be aware that BOTH account have to be active at time of transfer and keep old SIM handy as you would need it to confirm transfer.

Of course. It's even somewhat recommended so that you can make sure everything is working then bring your old number in after.
