Has anyone else checked their plan usage stats and found calls you did not make, listed? For example, it says I made a 15 minute call to 226-580-4001. I checked into this number and it is a scammer number. There are many reports about it on " Caller Center.com" which came up when I googled the number. This number is listed in my PM account usage log several times over the last few days. But I have never called this number nor have I received a call from this number. BUT I have received calls from numbers I do not recognize so did not answer. None of them left voicemails ( in the last few days) and none of them appear in my PM account usage ( only appear on my phone). One of those calls came in around the time it says I called that number, for a 15 minute call, and at other times, 5 min, 4 min. And 13 min ( just to list a few I have discovered,) I do have unlimited calling in my plan but still I did not make those calls and it is a scam # and I should not be "charged" with those calls. I also had a fairly big data usage listed after midnight last night, but I was in bed sleeping at that time and I had double checked that I turned my data off before I went to bed. This IS a problem because I don't have unlimited data and my phone data is my only internet access, so having it drained is a problem for me. Is anyone else having issues like this?

@J-L wrote:@softech now that I know that the number is VM and I have found 15 and 13 min calls listed, I think that is strange. I have never been on voicemail that long. The 4 and 5 min calls maybe, but I really think voicemail calls are usually no more than 2 min. But I think I will contact PM to let them know that the longer calls are strange. I will also let them know that I think their VM number has been spoofed.

Spoofing doesn't trick self serve usage details.

@J-L To be honest, I wouldn't too worry about those 4001 numbers. As from the post I showed, they are valid PM VM numbers. Even the scammer spoofing those numbers, there would not be any harm with actual lost
The 15 mins on the line seems to be interesting, with the length of the call. You can try to open ticket with PM and see what they say

@softech there was actually no voicemail left at that time. Over the last few days when I have checked voicemail I have had no messages. The voicemail messages I mentioned above were previous messages. I just mentioned them because they are the same messages people are reporting on the site when you google the ------4001 number.

these VM numbers are not any secret. Caller ID spoofer will randomly make up fake number and all others, I wouldn't be surprise that they might have fake these caller id numbers
As to why you got a caller id of an unknown number and then a VMail around the same time, it could be this situation. I heard about that scammer will actually called your number twice at the same time. The first one will got to your phone and the 2nd one, since your phone is ringing, will get to your voicemail. Their purpose is to leave a voicemail rather than the one for you to pickup. I am not sure if it is that case. If so, then you would see the voicemail at around the same time

There is a voicemail time limit for leaving a message. For some reason I'm thinking it's 5 minutes but that's pure speculation so unless you called and listened to all of your messages it does seem unusual. Im not sure if the new self serve allows you to determine if you initiated the call or not? Before at least if you were not in the eastern time zone....your calls to voicemail would be in local time whereas callers being forwarded to voicemail would be timestamps at the eastern time zone time.
Your two 12 hour blocks of reported data usage daily are uploaded just after midnight eastern....or at least they used to be. That still seems to be the case when I checked out my daily usage shortly after the self serve was unveiled.

Somehow the scammers are spoofing PM VM number.
Contact a CS_Agent to investigate and reverse the minutes charge.

@Timer this was NOT your original replied
your original reply was asking @J-L to use computer to check the page again saying PM system problem
When you need to make dramatic change like that, please cross out the original message and add the new reply after
@dust2dust has suggested you with the standard forum etiquette earlier

I use "Adding - " when I think of something else to say after I've already replied. I also use strikethrough to scratch out what I had previously written which also shows an edit.

If you google that number it brings up a page with many complaints against that number with people listing the type of scam calls/details they got from that number. And many of them are the same scam messsges I have received at different times ,( one being something along the line of " This is Border control. An illegal package has been picked up in your name. There is a warrant out for your arrest. You must call such and such a number and talk to an agent immediately or you will be arrested" among others... That's just one message I've received in voice mail. Also last week I received a voicemail that claimed there were unusual charges for very large amounts on my credit card and to call a number they quoted to verify. I did not call them of course, I called the number on my cc... There had been no such charges and no international money transfers... Unfortunately some people might panic with such a call and call the number quoted.
But back to this VM number... I never made a 15 min or 13 min call to voice mail.. And on my phone that number is not listed as an incoming call or an outgoing call. The unknown #s that are listed on my phone do not appear in my PM account log as incoming calls either, only that number I listed above appears in my PM account at those times.
So does this mean a scammer is accessing PM voice mail and making scam calls through my phone number whether I answer the call or not?

@J-L 226-580-4001 is one of the VM numbers for PM
The full list of all the VM access number is here:
You will see these voice mail numbers on your usage when someone got routed the calls to the voicemail (because you didn't pickup the calls) or when you call to check voicemail from your phone
