I see this has been asked in the past but I only see the resolution to get a refund. I’d like to — no have to call the uk- I’ve added the extra minutes but am unable to call I keep getting

If you don't know how to dial the number then perhaps get somebody in UK to call you.
Just long enough so that you can add the number to your contacts and see the format you need to dial.

011 and + are generally interchangeable. Try dropping the 0 after the 44. Leading zeros don't usually work from here as far as I remember.

Login to Self-Serve, confirm the UK Long Distance add-on has been added and that it is active.
Paying for the add-on and activating the add-on are sometimes different steps.

You have the UK add on?
If yes try:
To call United Kingdom from Canada, dial:
011 - 44 - Area Code - Land Phone Number
011 - 44 - 10 Digit Mobile Number
