Can't switch from $34 Canada and US plan to $29 Can, US and Mexico plan

As it says in the subject, can't seem to switch my plans. The promo doesn't say that it is for new subscribers. Am I missing something? I'm having Chrome on my phone.

@mebwp1 It is ultimately your choice to follow your wallet if you find something elsewhere that is cheaper/better.

I am on the $30 plan. I have been with public mor many years, I want to switch to the same $29 plan. I can't do it. This is very frustrating and wrong.  I suppose one could always port out to a company with mo up front costs and then port back in. The issue is I would rather just leave public rather than jump through hoops to drop my plan by $1.

@saje_ward Unless you can see a plan cheaper than that one in your app you are out of luck. I know others have reported switching "now" to the $30 (cheaper) plan (that I see in my account, I am on $35 plan) and then they were able to see the new $35/75GB plan and schedule it for next renewal.

Yes, I see that. Is it a matter of absolutely not being able to downgrade? Or of having to do something in particular to be able to downgrade?

@saje_ward Unfortunately PM has made it very difficult if not impossible to switch to a cheaper plan. You can only change to plans available in your app under Manage Subscription.

PS: If you click on that plan, the details page does say for new activations only.
