Just got my international calling addon and tried calling my wife in the hospital at the number she gave me but the phone says please stay on the line while the call.... long distance stuff and it’s not connecting me. There is no ringing or anything. She called me from the same number fine. Is there something that I need to know? I’m putting in all the right country codes and all

@tankrd Once you confirm the correct add-on (400 minutes $15) is showing under Add-ons in your account, be sure to dial correctly; 011 44 1234 567891. If you use 01234 567891 the system thinks you are in the UK.

@tankrd, I had similar unexplainable issues calling the UK as well. A few months back, there were a couple of weeks where I could not call a number that I successfully called previously. I asked the moderator team to check things out for me. They identified no issues. Out of the blue, it started working again. I never got any messages about waiting for the call to connect. The call would drop before the first ring.

Hi @tankrd,
Can you confirm for us that you have indeed purchased the long distance add-on and not just added funds to your account? To do this, log into the self-serve portal and see if it says that you have any available funds.
I'm asking this because a lof of members do not realize that in order to purchase an add-on, it is a actually a two step process, with the first being adding the funds into your account and then second step is to go through the same purchase exercise but this time it will actually use the funds added to your account in the first step to fund the purchase of the add-on.
