If you are not technically minded in activating an account. I would suggest you go with a carrier that offer full personal customer service like Koodo or Telus.
I see a lot of new members that are not technically mind and they screw up in creating a new account because PM is a online self-serve carrier and you do everything yourself.
In the end, they get very frustrated because communication with a CS_Agent by dm take sometime to respond.
Save yourself the grief and go with a live full serve carrier.

Hey @Judj
Thanks for sharing a bit of information on the problem you're having. So, it's a credit card issue and it won't allow you to use it.
Actually, this community is exactly where you share your problems. That is the point of the forums. Of course, you never share personal info on open forums like this, just generic issues and such.
And don't worry, I won't parrot others who have already parroted others here.
The Public Mobile activation system can be highly sensitive when entering credit card information. Sometimes it has to do with address matching on the credit card. Sometimes it's a space or no space when enter the postal code. Sometimes it can be a cache issue on your browser. And finally, sometimes it can be the credit card itself. Not all credit cards are accepted.
In closing, sometimes, you just have to clear your browser cache, wait a full hour and try again.

@Judj wrote:Need help setup new account.
Hello @Judj Instead of just sending you to a CS Agent like others do, why don't you share with us what issues you're having and maybe someone in the community can step up and actually help you first.
What exact issues are you having?
Check this link out. It may help.
