Hello Community,

I am new here. I do not have much knowledge as far as phone products or plans go. Or how to fix problems. Is there a how to help out section on here for new comers?

Thank you

I love the price and service.   I have no problems texting, call or browsing.  Its great really.  I paid a lot of money over the years having 4 phones in the house.  Finally I can breathe.

The cost savings.  You can earn multiple awards to reduce your plan costs.  Setup autopay with a credit card and save $2.  Refer friends 3 family and $1 per referral.  Loyalty award starts a $1 for each year you are a customer.

@Barbie2

Nice prices, flexibility to change your plan as needed (without affect rewards), and no overage charges (minutes or data...use it up and it stops). Also, the discounts with auto pay, and referral and community rewards.

I like all these things!

Welcome to Public Mobile @Barbie2 . Log into the community to check the announcement section to see what's up at least once a week.

To prevent autopay failure @Barbie2  deposit the cost of your plan when you get your 611 reminder message. Stay safe

Using the Public Mibile service, what is the one area of Public Mobile that you really like? Is there anything I am missing out on that I may not know about? What is the best advice you can give to new users like myself to get the most out of Public Mobile?

@gpixel, oh my goodness, you are obviously a mom and a Google Pixel 4 owner. You must love Broccolli too!

@Barbie2 The community can be one if the most efficient at replying to any question you have. Best practice is to provide as much information in questions as you can. Not saying you havent done that here just for future questions.

Edit: An oracle is amongst the most knowledgable Public Mobile customers. They have been voted in by Public Mobile to have that position. If you ever have questions the community is having a hard time answering they would be the ones to speak to about all things PM.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

@RossN @JoyLuck you guys are both correct!

winner, winner chicken broccoli!

@Barbie2 Glad to know that you are here for one month already and liking the Pm's service. Enjoy the savings. If you can't find some information in the articles provided previously or faced some issue, let us know. We are ready to help😉

Pressing accept solution means you are accepting the solution of the poster to your question you posted.

Hi @Barbie2

Here are some more details kinda like small knowledge base

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/qc/get-help/articles

But to deal with certain situations that are encountered frequently it's best to read through the community, there are lots of tips and tricks but unsorted. Basically as you encounter a problem you search to see if other people face the same/similar and what kind of advices they got.

This is why it's so important to mark the solution, the other people will have Quick Access to it

Welcome to public and the community

gblackma,

I have activated. I have been with Public Mobile about a month. My renewal was last week.

@Barbie2 , if you have already activated and renewed once, you are well on your way.  For many, getting started followed by renewing are two major bumps in the road.  Keep doing what you are doing and you should be fine.  From time to time, read some of the help section articles to learn anything extra that may be of future benefit.  Otherwise at the end of the day, this service is not that much different than any other service with the exception of online support only with no call center.

Reading the forums can answer many of the questions you about PM. If you cant find the answer, You can always post a specific question as someone in the community should have the answer. PM is a prepaid service , plans below. They also have add-on if the plans are not quite enough.
