Seems it works for existing customers although the math charges you full amount first month with credit for next month (along with 2nd month credit as well)

Did you apply it right away the plan?
I chose to change my plan on renewal date and the next day the promotion applied to the plan was no longer reflected.
My plan renewal date was closer to the end of the month. Out of fear of missing out, I contacted an agent since in my opinion asking a correction of an error the end of the month of less likely for me to succeed then the next day after the promotion ended.

@Teagen061 Something very similar happened for me.
I did see the discount when I added it, but when I checked the next day the discount was no longer showing, just the $55 plan for 20G.
The person I dealt with informed me the the promotion was no longer active the day after Cyber Monday. However, they were able to apply it as a courtesy only if it was done immediately. There was no mention of the plan being unavailable to existing customers, the main issue was not being able to apply it at renewal. It had to be implemented right away was what the agent told me.
I would reach out to a @CS_Agent and they should be able to help get your account sorted.

@Teagen061 Did you schedule a plan change to switch to this plan at renewal time?

Did you use the code that was provided to get that deal? If so, I would reach out to customer service. Your actuation date will let them know you joined Public Mobile in the time frame to avail of that deal.

I just see 55.20 came off my credit card. Referal money would make it around that price

@Teagen061 any chance you see a $20 Available Fund on your My Account?
Can you check Payment History page again and see what transactions it shows?
It you sure they charged you full $55+tax and no $20 credit anywhere, please open ticket with PM support
