Black Friday sales not appearing when I change plan

Hi, are there any restrictions on the Black Friday plans?  Tried to change my plan to one of the sale ones but they were not an option ?

hi @R-o-b just one thing, you will benefit with the 5G plan.  5G plans are actually 5G speed plans that give you a top speed of 250Mbps.  So, you can use your 4G phone on the 4G network to get speed 200+Mbps , which is much faster than the 100Mbps that 4G plans give you

Ideally I would like to get the $29 plan though - I might be able to get by with 10GB of data, I don't think I've gone over that yet even while travelling.

I agree that the main reason I chose Public Mobile over similar priced competitors when I switched from Bell was that they promoted the easily ability to switch to plans as your needs change on the fly compared to the traditional carriers that lock you in for years.

My only change so far was upgrading to a higher priced 5G plan to get US data for a vacation (I have a 4G phone so I don't benefit from the speed.) So I was hoping I'd have the ability to move up and down in cost as new plans are available, not only up.

if your cycle starts Oct 26, with a PM 30 days cycle, it will renew tonight

So, if you want to try change to $30 plan, please do it today.  And let us know if you see the $35 roaming plan after

I'm in this exact same position. My plan goes from Oct 26, 2024 - Nov 25, 2024, so I was looking to see how I can switch over through either switching to the $30 plan first or unsubscribing/resubscribing on November 25 or 26.

hi @sc25 do you see a $30 plan on the Available list? Some people had to make an immediate plan change to $30 and then the $35 roaming plan will show and you can them schedule a plan change for next renewal

@sc25  If you see the $30 plan you can try to switch to it immediately and then you should see the $35 MEX plan as it will then cost more it was confirmed to work for one customers already . That or port number out and back in on the desired plan

Hi, I have a 39 plan can-us. 50gb but there is a 35 can-us-mex 50gb plan I was going to chnage to since it has what I have now but includes Mexico.   The flexibility to move up and down is why o choose public mobile over competitors.

hi @sc25 you should see at least the $45 and $55 roaming plans

Some of us might also see the $35 or 29 roaming plans.

PM is now using targeted marketing approach and hence not everyone sees every plan.  

What current plan you have? and which roaming plan you want to change to?

@sc25  We can only can only change to the plans that are available to us to change to in our accounts public mobile doesn’t like or make it easy for people to downgrade plan price only upgrade plan price . So you should see MEX plan that’s cost more for you to switch to this is the direction public mobile is going spend spend spend more
