My visa bill showed 34.50 monthly charge in September and another fee of 44.85 which I know nothing about. Also the advertising said third month of enrolment free. Could you explain the unexpected fee and confirm the third month policy

That is strange. You will need to contact customer service agent then. Click on chat icon on right lower corner of website. Follow prompts to submit a ticket.

No sims as we had new phones and esims were activated

Just curious if you order a couple of SIMs to when you activated you and your wife’s account. It could be the charge for the SIMs.

I logged in and there is no entry for 44.85 in my billing summary but Public mobile billed me for that the day I signed up as well as my monthly fee. The same thing is in my Visa statement for Sept29 for my wife’s sign up. We both were charged this extra fee

You may need to click on the "filters" and choose the last 3 months to see the fee. This may help figure what it is.

More details would be helpful.
When were the exact charges? Do you see the funds in your PM account? Check your payment history in your PM account. Do you have multiple account with PM?
When did you sign up? The third month free promo may or may not have been applicable to your activation.
