Ya man im aware of any limitations settings changes can impose and its not that and as for data use i have a bunch of unused 5g data i should have access to haven't even been able to touch it since I paid my bill last. Really wish I wouldn't have ruined the old sim, caused unforeseen moronic problems lol. Thanks for trying tho

I assume you didn't use up your data and just using the unlimited 512kbps data?? Check My Account to confirm
If you still have data, try using network mode 4G or LTE and try 5G to see if it makes a difference. Remember to also turn off power save and data save mode on your phone and make sure you disable data limiter

Just wondering @Jordand1 have you tried this new SIM card in a different phone? I know it sounds weird but I try thinking outside the box sometimes. Some may not agree but I sometimes find trying weird things can sometimes be an answer.

This was the first thing I did after purchasing the new simcard, I've tried resetting network settings, manually punching in apn settings myself in a few different ways found online as per public mobile site and others, I've restarted my phone about 10 times and I've leveraged airplane mode aswell. Literally nothing works and my account says I have 50 gbs of 5 g ready to go.

you bought a new sim, so now you must log in to your Public Mobile account to Change Your SIM Card. Take out old sim and install new sim.

Im probably missing something obvious but I need someone else to point it out for me cause im just not seeing the solution here. Thanks in advance, J
I'd suggest going into your Network Section and and just reset your network and reboot. Should be fine.
