Adding a New Visa Card

My Canadian Visa Card recently expired, but I having trouble adding my new card. Each time I try to add the new card I get a message saying: 

Unable to Process Transaction

Sorry, we are unable to verify your credit card information, so this purchase could not be completed. Your credit card has not been charged

I have tried adding my Visa card in different browsers (Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Explorer) but none of the browsers worked. I have also tried adding my card in a private / incognito window, but these did not work either. I also make sure not to leave any spaces when I am typing in my Visa card number, and Postal code, but nothing seems to work. 

 

Would really appreciate some help/ advice!

Since you will have to wait til morning to be contacted by the moderators there is a possibility that the overnight moderator may add your new card info overnight if no other contact with you needs to be made and you can verify your identity ( thru simple simon) or via private message. Send a follow up message to the moderator team.

You can send a private message to the moderators by : Type "cant add replacement credit card" in the subject line and explain your issue. Be sure to include the following:

 

  1. Full name, address, telephone # and email of your account.
  2. Pin # and/or d.o.b., alternate ph # if any, last payment date, amount, type, last 4 digits/card.
  3. You may be asked for your security question and answer for further verification.
  4. Include your new card information for them to add for you.

 

Keep an eye on the envelope icon next to your avatar at the top right corner of your screen for a little number to pop up indicating a message from the moderators. Responding promptly to messages will speed up service times. You may just get a messsage saying they have already updated your credit card information.

Remove old card first...see if that helps. If you try / fail too many times you'll be locked out for an hour or so.


If a payment card gets locked out, it is permanent until moderators take action.  @StarrySkies , you might need to contact the moderator team for assistance.  The moderator team can be reached via private message using smartforms which is initiated by clicking on the ? on the lower right corner of the webpage or try using this link. The guided process will facilitate documentation of the issue or concern and the required resolution which will be submitted to the moderator team.
