Add-ons Expire?

Is anyone else concerned that Public Mobile has (according to the new wording on the add-ons page) changed their policy about add-ons expiring? Previously, they lasted indefinitely. Now the apparently expire after 30 days.

HI @Sammy5  data used up faster , you meant PM not taking the data meter correctly ? or you just need a plan with more data?

@Sammy5  maybe  consider the 20GB $39 plan or opt in for 90 days and pay $102 upfront with 60GB to use over 90 days works out to $34 a month

Will13am - my answer may be to switch providers.  My data seems to be being used up faster these days (with same habits/use), and now I find out I can't get all that I paid for.  I already expected to pay a low fee since there's less assistance with this provider, but that low fee is not looking so low these days...

Unbelievable Public did this. No idea if a (cryptic) email was sent to us to give notice. Frustrating as I just switched my kid to Public from Koodo. Currently, Koodo still has 'Boosters that never expire'... wonder if that will last.

Being able to use all the data you paid for has always been the big attraction to public mobile.  The new policy means you will have to be checking your usage all the time.  Has koodo done the same self destructive thing?  I'm looking for a new plan elsewhere as this is not what I signed up for.   Where we given any notice of the change?

@fastbodin1   All I can say is PM data addon policy is now inline with other Tier 3 providers, not better like before, but not worse either.

Many thanks.

Make enough noise on the community page that public mobile realizes people are frustrated?

@fastbodin1

it's all part of the "different experience" intro'd last week.

Get ready to experience Public Mobile differently.

I'm concerned, but what are your options besides switching carriers?
