How do I cancel a data add on?

@jbarnett :If you bought the wrong add-on by mistake you can try contact the Moderator Team and explain it to them to see if they help you. The add-ons don't renew automatically each month so no need to cancel them if you only want to buy them once.

Add-ons are good til used (except the roaming add-ons which expire 10 days after purchase)

 

Don't worry, they don't 'renew' on every subsequent renewal date costing you more than your plan amount  - they are 1-time purchases.  If you need them every cycle, you'll have to re-purchase them to get them again.

 

If you made the WRONG add-on selection, try contacting the Moderators to politely request they switch to another available add-on.  No guarantees - however they would hopefully recognize human error and switch to another one.   (Refunds likely not gonna happen if simply buyer's remorse...)

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

There is no need to cancel an add on **bleep** are one time purchases that stay on your account until completely used up or in the case of US roaming add ons....expire. Unless you made a mistake.....
