Hi, I have a contract for a phone that I cannot use anymore. The phone is not starting up since a while ago (about a year ago) but I can see that I am still paying the monthly bill. Since I cannot start up my phone anymore, I cannot add it to my online profile and I cannot cancel the contract. Is there another way to cancel the contract?
Thanks in advance!

@Cor2025 When you try to log in you should see under where the code should be entered an option "didn't get the code". If you select that it should send the code to your email instead of phone.

If you don’t see an option to send that security code to your email, rather than your broken phone you should reach out to an agent to complete the cancellation. Click on the chat bubble to submit a ticket at your bottom right of your screen or send a private message by clicking below:

Problem is, in my account, if I try to add my phone number, a security code is being sent to the phone....which is broken. Hence.....I cannot cancel the contract.

@Cor2025 By “phone contract” I assume you mean you are subscribed to Public Mobile and are paying monthly, but your physical phone is broken? If so, and you wish to cancel your “contract” aka subscription you can go to the public mobile website and log in. Go to my account, payments, and then click on manage subscription. From there you can toggle the subscription to the left and your auto pay will no longer be taken. After 3 months of inactivity, the account will be closed. Hope this helps.
